About Dental Financing & Insurance Options

Discounted Dental Plans
As a courtesy to our referring dentists, we participate in various discounted dental plans. To avail yourself of any applicable discount, you must present your card before treatment, and all fees must be paid in full at the time services are rendered. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of any applicable discount. At Bluebonnet Oral Surgery and Implants, we strive to offer the best care and convenient financial options. Important Financial Information
Accounts must be settled at the time services are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made. A monthly late fee of 1.5% will be added to all accounts overdue by 60 days or more. If an account is sent to collections, the patient is responsible for additional fees.
All fees are determined individually during consultation and before surgery. If you have any questions about the services to be performed or the charges associated with them, please feel free to discuss these with the staff. We aim to ensure that you are fully informed about fees and services.
Full payment is required for consultation, x-rays, and any treatment provided during your initial visit, regardless of potential insurance coverage. We accept various payment methods, including cash, checks*, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, and CareCredit. A $25.00 fee is applicable for all returned checks.
By providing a check as payment, you authorize us to use the information from your check for an electronic fund transfer or to process the check as an electronic check transaction.
Dental Insurance Policies
As a gesture of courtesy, we will accept the assignment of benefits for charges exceeding $300.00 with verbal confirmation of your insurance coverage. Deductibles and co-payments must be settled in full on the day services are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made. If, for any reason, your insurance carrier has not made payment within 60 days from the surgery date, the remaining balance becomes immediately due and payable in full by you.
Medical Insurance Policies
While some medical policies may cover the removal of impacted wisdom teeth, such instances are so rare that we do not accept assignment of benefits on medical policies for procedures considered dental in nature. Please note that the acceptance, denial, or partial payment of an insurance claim does not exempt you from the responsibility of paying the full fee for the services provided.
